Project teams need guidance when applying the Rational Unified Process® for the first time. An experienced mentor can help to identify the set of artifacts, roles and activities that are best suited to the specific needs of the project. Team members are shown how to apply new techniques and interact with other members of the team. Project mentoring balances learning and applying new knowledge with the pressures and constraints of real projects. |
